This is my first water drop photo. I used a black painters tray (used for rollers) to hold the water, and a make shift corrugated 'arch' to hold the eye dropper. Using a polarizing filter to catch maximum reflectivity off the surface of the water (and an external flash), all of the elements combined to create a dark, silky look to the splash and the waves.
